Our area features some of the most beautiful inland lakes in the world. Most of these lakes are in what is referred to as the "Chain-of-Lakes". The lower chain offers the best overall boating. Your route can start right here in Bellaire at the Intermediate River at the boat launch in town, it will lead you through Lake Bellaire to the Grass River, then through Clam Lake to Torch Lake and Elk Lake. Each lake has it’s own access points, but the trip from Bellaire is a nice way to spend an early afternoon before playing on Torch Lake for the day. Fishing is especially great on Lake Bellaire and Clam Lake.
You’re surrounded by the Chain of Lakes and mere minutes from the glorious turquoise waters of Torch Lake. Go ahead and find yourself a rental for a day or two of water fun in the sun!
